Bookkeeper / Office Administrator - Part Time

We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of a part-time Bookkeeper/ Office Administrator .

The candidate will be responsible for the bookkeeping and administrative operations and supporting office initiatives. Strong work ethic, professional demeanor, problem solving, exceptional organizational and time management skills are essential.

  • Conduct general bookkeeping
  • Assist in answering the phone and Customer service
  • Utilize existing Accounting System (QuickBooks) to maintain records of financial transactions
  • Complete account payable tasks including making payments as necessary
  • Reconcile bank accounts and other necessary accounts
  • Comply with regulatory requirements regarding HST and payments to CRA
  • Keep filing up to date
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support as necessary

Essential Qualifications:

  • Background education in bookkeeping or accounting
  • 5+ years relevant experience preferred
  • Administrative experience an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, multi-tasking and organization skills
  • Professional, responsive and positive work attitude is critical
